Sweeney Todd is a dark musical about a crazed barber set on revenge. He murders his customers while shaving them, and to hide the evidence, he bakes his victims into meat pies. There are a lot of symbols associated with all the themes of a barbershop, baking and murder, which really lend themselves to interesting forced connections.
My final design combines a meat pie with the screaming face of a victim. Texture and stylization were a huge challenge for me in this project, but I tried different methods until I found one that worked.
