The article I was assigned discusses the toxic process of dyeing denim and how it's harmful to both workers and the environment. The article also brings up potential solutions, so I also explored a more positive approach in the beginning.
I found an extremely compelling image of a man's forearms dyed bright blue from working with denim dyes, which I felt really emphasized the article's message of danger, The surrounding molecules are the different dyes used in the process, including indigo. I struggled at the start of this project with the process packet, but I kept going and I'm proud of the result.
